Yamas and Niyamas: The Ethics of Yoga Beyond the Mat
Yamas and Niyamas: The Ethics of Yoga Beyond the Mat Few things about yoga are as surprising as discovering that...
Welcome to my space, where my goal is to offer support and facilitate transformation.
I’m Clio Byrne, certified in Hatha Yoga and Yoga for Grief. The sessions for Yoga for Grief provide a safe space to navigate the loss process with compassion, patience, and acceptance. It helps us honor our emotions, understand the physical and mental impact of grief, and create a path toward holistic well-being.
By integrating the body, mind, and emotions, we can find the strength to move forward, recognizing that grief is not something to “overcome” but something to integrate with love and awareness. In my sessions, I offer you a space to explore and process your pain at your own pace.
This approach is an invitation to accompany the grief process with gentleness, wisdom, and a profound inner connection. If you feel that pain, sadness, or anxiety interferes with your well-being and you seek a softer and more holistic way to heal, this is your space.
In these classes, we explore tools such as:
Mindful Yoga, which includes gentle postures adapted to each person’s needs.
Emotional Support and Self-Compassion
An atmosphere of self-compassion and empathy is fostered during the sessions. The goal is not to judge what is happening but to embrace it with love and understanding. Each session is adapted to the emotional and physical state of each individual, respecting their grief process without pressuring for progress or results.
Allows participants to process and release difficult emotions related to loss.
The practice of yoga helps reduce anxiety and stress, providing a space for calm.
Promotes a deeper connection between the body and emotions, helping participants tune into their internal needs.
Provides a sense of community and connection with others going through similar experiences.
