I have been teaching Singing and Vocal Technique for over 20 years, specializing in Jazz and Modern Music.
I am an official examiner for Singing exams for the prestigious Trinity College London, and I have helped many students prepare for and achieve excellent grades in their voice exams.
I am also a professional singer and have spent many years performing at events and venues across cities in Spain, including Barcelona.
I have had the opportunity to travel extensively with music, performing concerts in countries such as Argentina, England, Ireland, Cyprus, and the United Arab Emirates.
I have a duet that performs regularly in the city of Barcelona and nearby areas. You can see videos on our Instagram, Clio and Pablo: Here is the Instagram link. Duet Clio and Pablo Duet Clio and Pablo
In our group singing classes, we blend vocal technique training with the performance of a wide range of musical genres. We explore various styles, with a focus on pop, rock, and gospel, allowing us to experiment with different sounds, rhythms, and emotional expressions.
This combination not only pushes us to refine our technique but also enables us to explore diverse vocal registers, from the powerful energy of rock to the emotive depth and improvisation of gospel.
The repertoire is even more enriching because it spans three different languages: English, Catalan, and Spanish. This allows us to sing in various languages, which not only expands our vocal capacity and versatility but also connects us with different cultures and musical traditions.
Each term, we focus on preparing songs that we then perform on the streets of Horta, a lively and charming neighborhood. These small outdoor concerts are one of the most exciting parts of the classes.
While learning and rehearsing the songs, we have a lot of fun working as a team, creating harmonies, and enjoying music together. The experience of performing in the streets is unique, as it allows us not only to put into practice everything we have learned in the classes but also to connect with the community.
The audience’s reaction adds even more excitement to our work. It’s incredibly rewarding to see people stop to listen, smile, or even join in singing, making all the effort worthwhile.
Our group singing classes are a mix of technical learning and artistic enjoyment, where the diversity of the repertoire, the variety of languages, and the community atmosphere make each term a unique experience.
We have a lot of fun, not just singing but also by sharing our passion and connecting with others, experiencing music in a deep and authentic way.
We rehearse every Monday from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

I’m Xavi, a professional actor. I know Clio from the classes she gives to my daughter Sara, but on this occasion, I needed her help for a song I had to sing while filming a Netflix series… I was a bit stressed with the whole filming process and decided to ask Clio for coaching for that song. However, her classes helped me beyond just rehearsing the song. Clio also helped me manage my stress… With just four classes, she prepared me to sing the song with confidence, and I can assure you that when I was on set preparing to shoot, I remembered those exercises she teaches so well. Not only did I learn them, but I also “understood” these techniques that are full of wisdom. The shoot was at night and very tough, but those exercises helped me breath and relax efficiently and discreetly, just minutes before going into action. And the song… Amazing!

I can’t imagine my life without singing in the Group classes with Clio (with the Buena Onda choir). It’s a place where we live in the moment with wonderful people. We have a great time and we find so much peace and joy whilst singing together.💕🥰🙏
Singing in a group fosters camaraderie and social interaction. In our Group Singing Classes, students can share experiences, learn from one another, and build friendships based on shared interests.
In a group setting, participants often feel more comfortable and less intimidated. This can help overcome stage fright and build confidence.
Students can benefit from peer feedback and observation. Listening to different voices and styles can inspire and offer new perspectives.
Many activities, such as harmonies, ensemble singing, and vocal games, are more effective in a group. These help develop skills like active listening and synchronization.
In our group singing classes, we explore a variety of musical genres, allowing students to experiment with different techniques and styles.
Each term, we prepare a repertoire to perform outdoors on the street, near where we rehearse. Singing in public has several emotional, social, and physical benefits.
Performing in front of an audience can help overcome shyness and boost self-confidence.
Singing allows you to express emotions and feelings, which can be therapeutic.
Singing in public can facilitate connections with others and create a sense of community.
Improves skills such as diction, voice projection, and musical interpretation.
Music and singing can release endorphins, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.
Singing promotes better breathing techniques and can increase lung capacity.
Encourages creativity and self-expression, allowing exploration of different styles and genres.
Requires dedication and practice, which can improve self-discipline and perseverance.
It can simply be a very fun and rewarding activity.
