I’m Clio Byrne, a certified piano teacher and official music examiner for Trinity College London, with over 20 years of experience in music education.
My teaching approach focuses on adapting to each student’s unique needs.
My piano classes are designed for all levels, from beginners starting their musical journey to those looking to perfect their technique or explore new styles.
Through personalized teaching, I guide you step by step in learning to play the songs you love, whether using sheet music or chords and improvisation, depending on your preference.
Whether you want to prepare for official exams with Trinity College London in classical piano or more contemporary genres like rock, pop, or jazz, my goal is to provide an enriching musical experience.

Having a keyboard or piano is essential to make the most of piano classes. It will allow you to practice what you learn in each lesson and develop your skills. Also, make sure to have a comfortable, well-lit space for playing. Do you already have an instrument at home?
Of course! You don’t need any prior experience to learn how to play the piano. With dedication and practice, anyone can do it. The key is to be patient with yourself and enjoy the journey.
I’m Irish, and I offer the option to take classes in English or Spanish.
